Check-In Information

Check in may begin at 9:00am
Prior to the event, you will be given a specific Volunteer Check-in booth location to check in that is close to your stall location. This is to ensure a quick and easy check-in process that will avoid congestion in the morning. Please be respectful and help each other out.
Check in is only for pre-registered vendors
You will be given a unique event number to display on your booth or food truck. If you do not have this displayed, you may be asked to pack up and leave the area.

9:00am Check in at designated Volunteer Check-In Booth
9:30am Street barricades are put in place starting at both ends (Lowry and at 14th Ave)
9:30am Set up begins making sure you have your event number visible (obtain that at the check-in booth)
9:30 to 10:30am Set up
10:30am All vehicles (unless food trucks) must be off the street
10:30am Remaining streets barricaded
11:00am Event begins
4:00pm Stage performances conclude
4:00pm Vendors may being teardown but may choose to remain open until 5pm
5:00pm Event ends and all vendors must tear down equipment
5:00pm Vendor vehicles may enter event space to pack up
5:30pm All vendors must have supplies, equipment, canopy off Central Avenue
5:30 to 6:00pm Central Avenue barricades removed and street opened to traffic

In the event of an emergency, you should notify a volunteer at one of the 6 volunteer booths. These booths will be marked with a bold V and an intersection number or letter (for instance V22 which represents a volunteer booth at the intersection of 22nd and Central). Each booth will have a walkie-talkie that can then contact the event organizers, police or other emergency personnel.
There will be 2 on-duty police officers on site during the entire event. Please note that the Minneapolis Police Department Precinct 2 is located at 1911 Central Avenue as well.
Additionally, there will be volunteers with neon-vests that can also assist if needed.
The event organizer, Deborah Brister, can be reached by text at 612-743-5943 the day of the event.
The Heat Recovery/First Aid Station will be located near the intersection of 22nd & Central.
Public drinking water is available at the intersections of 22nd & Central and 16th & Central

You are required to bring your own 10 x 10-foot canopy and 20-pound weights for each leg.
You will need some type of banner or signage (minimum 8.5" x 11") that identifies who you are, either as the registered organization or yourself (if you registered as an individual) and your contact information (can be a phone number, email or website address).
You will need to display your Event number given to you at the Volunteer Check-In booth
You will likely need a table and chairs, although these are not required.
Food that is given away, sampled, or sold must be pre-approved and a food permit license displayed. You may not distribute any food without a food permit.
You may not leave your vehicle parked on Central between 14th and Lowry during the event.
You may not set up your canopy 14 or less feet from the East Side of Central Avenue's Curb. This is a 14-foot fire/emergency lane that must remain open.
